Our vision at Prince of Peace fulfills the Great Commission given by Jesus to his disciples: to reach and to teach. Our church has many ministries to reach a variety of people in our community, and our church’s resources are continually supporting the work of these ministries. For instance, our ministries include an education program with a vibrant Sunday School and a signature event for our church – the Fine Arts Camp, held each summer. We have started small groups and bible studies for high school students, young adults, women and men. And our outreach board is now publishing Peace Talks, featuring constructive conversation of relevant issues in our community. Future plans include a major upgrade to the fellowship hall and narthex to make them more useable and friendly, and sponsoring programs that help our community families find answers to today’s tough questions, in areas such as parenting, stress management and personal health.
